Dr. Jessica Mack, DrOT, CPT, OTR/L
Founder and CEO of Hand in Hand Occupational Therapy
Dr. Jessica Mack is an Occupational Therapist, certified counselor, certified personal trainer, health/wellness expert, and pediatric expert.
Jessica received a degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. She pursued and completed a Master of Science degree in Counseling, as a well as a post-graduate certificate in Educational Leadership and Policy, at Long Island University (LIU) in Brookville, NY. Jessica received her clinical doctoral degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Jessica has worked as an occupational therapist for seventeen years. Her extensive and dynamic professional background, coupled with her enthusiasm for and passion for working with people with special needs allows Jessica to effectively work with individuals of all ages and abilities. Jessica contributed to Dr. Oz’s blog and sharecare.org website, and published several articles. She has appeared on radio shows, including Long Island’s oldest radio show, WGBB, and Sirius/XM’s The Doctors show. Dr. Jessica Mack has made television appearances on the Emmy award winning daytime show The Dr. Oz Show, and on The Katie Couric Show.



Thomas J. O’Connor, MEd, CRC

Thomas J. O’Connor, MEd, CRC is a behavioral healthcare consultant serving families nationwide. For 25+ years, Tom has advised parents on understanding specialized treatments, financial planning, and strategic care planning for their adolescent and adult children with psychiatric disabilities. Tom’s reputation is delivering fresh strategic thinking to treatment or rehabilitation planning and daily life management to deliver better quality living for both child and parent. He is most prominently known for designing aftercare and case management for patients leaving hospital and treatment centers to ensure better life outcomes. His work has been the presented in The New York Times, Psychiatric News, National Public Radio, and The Washington Business Journal.
Career highlights include:2001 – 2014 : Founded and managed O’Connor Associates, a behavioral health care management firm that delivered an average 81% reduction in inpatient days and 53% reduction in transitional hospital days for its clients nationwide; O’Connor Associates merged with Mindoula Health (2014) to integrate high-touch care management with web/mobile integrated collaborative care.
2013 – Present: Founded Disability Financial Services and DFS Family Services, a specialty financial case management services group that jointly provides long term care and financial case management planning for parents and trustees, and guardians.
1995-1997 : Managed ‘The Mentor Project’ a U.S Department of Education demonstration project (performed at PRS, Inc in McLean VA) , using psychiatric rehabilitation methods to rapidly return to work professional-level workers with depression and bipolar disorder, and named a National Innovation Model in 1997 by the American Psychiatric Association
